Ships Graveyard

The spectacular yet rugged coastline of Kangaroo Island has claimed many ships and lives over the past 200 years.  Over 80 known shipwrecks are literally scattered around the island making this a true ‘Ship’s Graveyard’.

The cool maritime conditions on Kangaroo Island along with ancient soils allow for a slow even ripening which is ideal for producing Shiraz with both depth and structure.  This wine shows lifted aromatics of pepper and spice, with a soft and supple palate and long seamless finish that will see it drinking well over the next 5-6 years.
